Glossary of Terms

RhomTrip defines core terms that are re-used throughout the specification. Below we include some of the key terms you need to know before getting started. Refer to Schemas for detailed definitions of fields used in the specification.

Term	Definition
Transfer	Refers to a transportation service that moves passengers between a point of origin and a specific destination, such as airports, train stations, ports, or accommodations.
Product	An attraction, activity, or tour provided by RhomTrip.
Availability	The accessibility and suitability of the Product for booking.
Booking	A confirmed request for a Product or Transfer, handled through the available options of the selected service. This includes specifying key details such as the date, time, passenger mix, and any preferences tied to the chosen option.
Option	A variation or customization available for both Products and Transfers. Options may include start times, additional stops, passenger configurations, or other features designed to meet user requirements.
Unit	Categories such as Adult, Child, Senior, etc.
